We at Blinkbonny Bulldogs are a family kennel. We have a family of dogs - Max, Gypsy and their daughter Inga. We also have a more recent addition to our family, Lily.

Our dogs live with us and our young son in our rural home. It is our intention to breed first class bulldogs which are stable in temperament, robust in health and a credit to the name Bulldog.

‘This breed is a recent attempt to recreate the form of the original working bulldog, before it was modified for the show ring' (Desmond Morris).

‘The breeding programme was undertaken by Ken Mollett who, over a period of two decades, has bred back to the longer-legged version that was popular in the days before bull-baiting was banned'  (Desmond Morris). ‘Working to old photographs, statues, written descriptions and engravings, Ken Mollett set out to remake the dog pictured in Victorian times' (Robert Jenkins). ‘Nothing new has been added to bulldogs by Mollett, just a few crucial things reawakened' (Robert Jenkins).
